Ambassador interior trim, handles, seats & comfort parts
Interior parts are often changed during an Ambassador restoration. Seats, door trims, handles, instruments, carpets and roof lining may no longer match an original catalogue description. Describe what is fitted now and which pieces you want to retain when asking a seller for replacements.
Check before ordering
- Photograph the old trim shape and mounting points. Record the side and any dimensions that affect fit.
- Ask whether a handle or lock is supplied with the required linkage, clips, keys or mounting pieces; the photographed package should match the listing contents.
- For used seats or trim, ask about frame condition, tears, missing fittings and repairs. For electrical comfort parts, confirm the fitted assembly with a specialist.
Questions for the seller
Confirm the actual colour, material, quantity and included fittings rather than choosing from a generic title. Avoid publishing documents or photos that reveal personal information while asking about an interior part.
