Ambassador body panels, grilles, mirrors & exterior parts
Ambassador grilles, bumpers, lamps, mirrors, panels and trim can differ by styling era or by later modifications. A Nova, Grand or Avigo name is a useful starting point, but the old part and mounting positions are better evidence for a replacement. Used body parts also need an honest condition record.
Check before ordering
- Compare the overall shape, fixing points and side of the vehicle. Ask for measurements and photos of the reverse of trim or brackets.
- For panels and doors, ask about rust, repairs, dents, hinges and the parts included. A polished front photo can hide damaged edges or mounting areas.
- For window mechanisms, wipers and weatherstrips, identify the fitted assembly and compare the profile or connector before ordering.
Questions for the seller
Confirm paint and finish descriptions, packing arrangements for fragile pieces and any return restrictions before modifying a part. Do not assume that every decorative item fits all Ambassador models.
